To help slow the spread of COVID-19 in Kansas, the Kansas Leadership Center launched “Kansas Beats the Virus” in late 2020—a grassroots public health initiative developed in partnership with the State of Kansas. The goal of the effort was to call upon KLC’s vast network of alumni and partners to hold hundreds of virtual meetings across the state to develop local action plans that would keep Kansans healthy, schools and businesses open and the economy strong.

As long-time KLC partners, we were tapped to serve as campaign co-managers, overseeing the direction and production of the multi-faceted campaign with the purpose of inspiring others to taken on the virus in their own backyard.

In addition to managing the campaign, we also provided public relations support and wrote copy for the web, social media and digital and print ads.
